The Board of your IMA Florida Regional Council invite you to join us in honoring Mr. Steve Christie, CPC; who was an Officer and Leader of the IMA Tampa Bay Chapter and delegate to the Florida Council for many years. Steve, who passed away in July 2017, was a staunch advocate of Chapter and Council support of students aspiring toward careers in management and public accounting.
In joyful celebration in his memory, your Council has instituted a Steve Christie Memorial Scholarship Fund and is now accepting contributions for this Fund.

The scholarship applications will be distributed to the head of the Accounting or Business department of colleges and universities in Florida.

Mr. Steve Christie’s professional career was in talent search and placement specializing in service to accounting and financial management professionals in the Tampa Bay area. His experience included fourteen years with Frank Leonard Personnel as Senior Consultant and General Manager; four years with Marsar & Company as Partner and Senior Consultant; thirteen years with Gregory, Sharer & Stuart, PA as Recruiting and Employment Manager; and, most recently, as an independent executive recruiter. Steve also served in various officer positions in the Kiwanis Club of Tampa Bay and was a key organizer of Christmas celebrations and other activities for the Children’s Medical Services of Hillsborough County.
